Description
Finapres Portapres is the ambulatory Finapres® technology solution. The Portapres® offers standard ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) and displays hemodynamic parameters such as stroke volume and cardiac output. TProven and tested clinical technology based on 20 years of scientific research. Data can be stored and retrieved using the BeatScope® software.
The Portapres® can easily be used during exercise as long as the hand can be kept reasonably stable.
The Portapres® is a true ambulatory blood pressure monitor with a built in memory card (60-hour capacity). Offline BeatScope® software displays patients hemodynamics. Optional real-time and remote solutions are available.
The Portapres® can be used almost everywhere. The operating temperature is between 0 and 35 degrees Celsius (32 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit) and the humidity must remain in the range between 5 and 90% The picture shows hemodynamic recordings using a Portapres® during a high-altitude expedition.
The main unit, weighing approximately 1.5 kg (3.3 lbs) is worn on a waist belt. The Frontend Unit is worn on the wrist and connected to the main unit. The front end unit connects the finger cuff with the main unit.
The option to switch between fingers at set intervals increases patient comfort compared to single cuff systems.
